I picked up these orange heels from Nordstrom this week. They were on the model wearing the Maggy London dress I bought last week and, while I don’t usually buy mannequin outfits, they are pretty cool.

I need some more espadrilles for the summer. I spotted these, which would go nicely with that Maggie London dress. I have a lot of oranges and I think I’ll get some good use from them.

I ordered these Columbia snow boots for the blizzard we had here in DC this weekend. Unfortunately, they didn’t make it in time. They came yesterday but hey, we’re having ANOTHER blizzard today, so they will still be useful!

Outdoors fashion is not really my thing, but I think these are pretty cool. The blue is much more saturated in person.

I gasped when I saw these. I want them so much! But I want to keep my $945 more. Sigh…

I saw these shoes months ago on Zappos and they were not available in my size. I’ve been looking, but today when I mentioned them to my SIL Michelle, she totally out-Googled me and found them in my size on an obscure website. So, these are my birthday present to myself. So fab!

Bluefly had a quick afternoon sale on shoes, and so I jumped in and picked up these Kate Spade pumps. They are a bit crazy, but also pretty cool.

Way out of my price range at $695, but these Valentino slingbacks are just beautiful.

Every time I am browsing at bluefly, these catch my eye.

All summer I needed pink shoes and I couldn’t find any. Today, the first day it’s really dropped off into fall, I found these on sale for almost half off (with coupons).

I originally saw them in yellow, but pink will be much more versatile for me. Too bad I won’t really get to wear them until the spring.

In other news, I’ve been returning things like a mad woman. Free shipping is a great thing, but online shopping is so much harder than in-person shopping. Nearly everything I’ve ordered in the last month has gone back. Keepers include the brown shoes and boots and the pink DVF shirt.

For a year, I have been on the hunt for a pair of brown shoes and also a pair of brown boots. It shouldn’t be that hard, should it? Yet I have not been able to find something that I really love, which is my minimum threshold for buying something. Those LAMB boots were great in the picture, but made me look like a prostitute in real life. I’ve sent back 3 other pairs of brown boots. The same goes for the shoes. Today, though, I ordered a pair of both by Maxstudio that I think will solve my problems.

Next the boots. These aren’t as adorned as the others I’ve looked at, but the Zulli boots I ordered from there last year were amazing. I figured these will be nearly as good.
