New: J Crew Polka Dot Skirt
Saturday, January 3rd, 2009MOM and I went shopping on New Year’s Day. I’d spotted this skirt at J Crew the day before and when we walked in Mom said “That is perfect for you.” It is my style exactly, it fits great, and she got it for me. Thanks MOM!!!

Love: Extra Sales
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008I am not usually one to talk about The Economy publicly, but I sure have noticed a difference in the kinds of Holiday sales showing up. It’s crazy how much a lot of stuff is marked down, and I’m having trouble keeping up with it.
For example - last week I posted this skirt from Saks, then on sale for around $135. I got my Shop it to Me Salemail this morning, that shows it is now down to only $91. What a deal!

Want: Trina Turk Skirt
Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008Since it’s holiday time and I’m buying gifts, I’m on a spending freeze for clothes for myself. Come mid-January, I hope this skirt is still available because it’s absolutely beautiful and something I would wear all year.

New: Boots
Friday, September 5th, 2008I’ve been needing a pair of brown boots for a long time. I wore my black ones almost every day last winter and I really could have used brown ones. These are just what I want, except that they are pull on instead of zip up. I have trouble getting this style on, but I figure it’s worth a shot. These are Cole Haan and look great, so I’ll try hard
It’s worth the Bluefly shipping fee to give them a try.
Love: Nanette Lepore Skirt
Sunday, September 30th, 2007New: Old Navy Skirts as sleepwear
Monday, July 30th, 2007I have the good fortune of having a job that lets me spend a lot of time at home when I want to. I don’t dress up when I’m working on my couch. Most of the last few years have been spent in PJ bottoms and old t-shirts. I’ve been looking to upgrade just a bit. I never go out of the house in these clothes, but I would like something that doesn’t make me feel homeless. These skirts from old navy are great. Very comfortable, nice looking, and fun. They are also much cooler for summer than full pajama bottoms. I bought one in each color - only $10!
Want: J Crew Pindot Skirt
Monday, April 23rd, 2007I posted about the J Crew pindot dress, and here is a skirt version. I love that ruffle on the bottom and the way it fits. It’s backordered, but I hope I can get it in the store soon.
New: Coin-op Skirt
Wednesday, April 4th, 2007I already own this skirt in chartruse. This is a distinct duplicate, but I really love it. I don’t wear the current one too often, so I think I can space these out and pair them with different tops so they won’t be too obvious.
I bought the original one at full price for $125. I got this on sale today for $34 at Anthropologie. Their shipping costs KILL me, but for my whole order, the $19 shipping cost was still worth it for this skirt. I would have paid $53 for it.
New: Anthropologie Outfit
Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007Last fall I bought an expensive outfit from Anthropologie - a full plaid skirt and cashmere sweater. It was so worth it, though. I love that outfit and feel great when I wear it.
Today, I bought another that I hope will be the spring/summer equivalent. This is a seersucker skirt with blue and white stripes and a lightweight yellow sweater. I already have the espadrilles and base layer.
I got a few more things with this order (to be posted later this week) that made me able to stomach their insane shipping rates.
