Also from Modcloth. It sold out in one day, but I got one. It’s called “Don’t be Shellfish” in “Maryland”. There’s also a “Maine” version with a lobster.

This isn’t my usual retro style, but when I saw this on Modcloth I knew that I would regret it for my entire life if I didn’t buy it.

My fabulous SIL Michelle visited last week and, on our stop into the Kate Spade store in Georgetown, I bought a pair of shoes. I almost also bought this. I adore it and, when I have $375 laying around, maybe I will buy it.

Long time no post! And long time no shop, unfortunately. Things have been very busy and I’ve only picked up a few things. Assuming I still have a little time, I’ll update this week.

In the meantime, I picked up two bags at J Crew this week. I have a great canvas bag from there, but it’s big. I use it for grocery shoping. I’ve wanted a simple canvas bag for little trips to dinner or whatever (just to hold wallet, sunglasses, cell phone, maybe a couple other little things), because I have a lot of casual sundresses for which the leather Kate Spade bags I have look out of place. I’ve have had trouble finding something simple and properly sized. These are perfect - 10″ X 13″ - and I ordered one in white and one in navy (both on sale).

A couple years ago I saw a Rolex on ebay. It was probably fake, but it inspired some Rolex lust in me. Blue face. Diamonds. So so beautiful. Today I stumbled across the Luxury Watch section of Amazon. This is basically the Rolex I’ve been lusting for. The sad part is that there are Rolexes for $3,000 which is something that someday I may be able to consider buying. THIS one is $20,000 which is the price of a car. So, I think I’m left to lust (unless someone would like to get it for me as a present).

L.A.M.B. makes great bags, and I’d love this little one.

J. Crew is offering 30% off their sale prices, so I picked up a few things this week. Thing one is this bracelet, which I think will be very versatile in my wardrobe, particularly come the summer.

While my colleagues think it’s silly, I resisted switching from my 12″ powerbook to my new Macbook Air because the powerbook fits in all my bags and the Air is 1.5″ wider and does not. Thus, I’d need to essentially replace all my work bags so I can bring my computer.

This is a costly proposition so I’m going slowly. My mom and dad got me an excellent brown messenger bag for xmas. Now, I at least need a black and a white. Today, I decided on this kate spade malea tote. It was available in both colors, but I chose white since I seem to have a harder time finding white bags. While not cheap, it was on sale.  Now, it’s also on its way to me.

Usually I look for accessories to go with outfits, or at least palettes that I have in my wardrobe. This necklace from Anthropologie does not match anything I have, but I love it and would happily build an outfit around it.

I have a new computer that is too big by an inch for all the bags I have. I’m slowly looking for a couple new ones. This Coah bag would be fabulous. I could use it all the time, but it’s quite an investment.
