These red pumps are identical to the Marc Jacobs pumps I bought in December. They are by Linea Paolo at Nordstrom. I don’t know how they got away with making the exact same design, but this red (not available from Marc Jacobs) is fabulous. They are on backorder, but I expect them sometime this month.

Here’s the last H&M item to show this week. A brown top. This is similar to the green one posted yesterday, except it has longer sleeves and it hooks all the way up the front. It’s going to round out an outfit that I have never completed. More on that later.

I bought this great summer top in green and also in white. It’s got cute cap sleeves and is perfectly fitted. There is also a great texture to it for added detail.

I said I needed navy espadrilles, and today I bought two pairs from American Eagle Outfitters: one in navy with white polkadots, and one in white. These will be great with so many different things. They also have a 4″ heel, so I’ll be at my full 6′ glory in them.

This is going to be a week of H&M. I am so happy.

As I’ve written here, I have lots of trouble finding tops I like. Wandering around H&M, there were dozens in the particular style I want - v-neck, fitted, usually with collars, and in great color.

Here’s the first of my recent finds. I love the way red looks on me, so I’m building up its presence in my wardrobe. I like it especially with these charcoal pinstriped trousers.

I adore this green bag from Anthropologie. Because of the color I know it couldn’t be an everyday bag, but I can make some great outfits from it. It’s $350, though, which is a bit too much at this point.

This design of mine was worn by Keri on Mythbusters. Get it in the style she wore, or any of the hundred other variations in the store.

I have no swimwear. The last swim suit I bought was my first year of college….1996. Today I found this reversible top and bottom on 25% off final sale at J Crew.

I have a ton of new H&M clothes to post up here. I used to actively dislike that store, but I think it’s because I never found the right section. In the last couple weeks I’ve bought 6 new tops (that I desperately needed), and this great wrap dress. Sure, $600 in DVF gets sent back, but this $35 wonder made up for it.

I am a sucker for contrast piping. This dress from J Crew has really perfect details. I don’t think this cut would flatter me at all, but the polka dots and piping are just fabulous.
