I inherited this very lightly used Kate Spade bag this week. I wouldn’t have bought it for myself, probably, but it is the perfect size and design for my shopping and day use. It has lots of pockets, and has plenty of room for my wallet, sunglasses, cell, etc. I think I will quickly integrate this into my life.

I have the good fortune of having a job that lets me spend a lot of time at home when I want to. I don’t dress up when I’m working on my couch. Most of the last few years have been spent in PJ bottoms and old t-shirts. I’ve been looking to upgrade just a bit. I never go out of the house in these clothes, but I would like something that doesn’t make me feel homeless. These skirts from old navy are great. Very comfortable, nice looking, and fun. They are also much cooler for summer than full pajama bottoms. I bought one in each color - only $10!

I’m still hunting for a black bag to hold my laptop. I discovered Talene Reilly, with several great options. I particularly like the Sydney. It is stylish, and has all kinds of cool interior pockets for the computer and stuff.

I bought my first pair of boots last winter, and love them. I want a brown pair for this fall/winter, and I discovered these at Banana Republic. I love the shape of the toe and the slimmer heel.

I buy a lot online and I return a lot. I returned the BCBG bag from bluefly, those pink slingbacks, and quite a few other things. My budget really includes these returns. I expect to send back more than half of everything I get, because once  I try it on it doesn’t work. If I kept it all, I would be very broke.

This beautiful party dress, the Sue Park, is part of the Diane von Furstenberg fall collection.

I blogged about this dress when I got it. As evening wear, I’ve decided to accessorize it with aqua green/blue. This is with my Kate Spade shoes (the first good heels I bought) and some Sorrelli in Mint Julep.

If Max Azria knew how much I was promoting the BCBG line on this blog, he’d pay me.

Here is yet another great dress. This is similar to one I have. They are so worth the $180 a piece…if only I had more 180 dollar bills lying around.

I aspire to go out and utilize my new salsa skills, which means a new dress. I’ve just started looking, and both of these from Bebe are interesing. The red one might be too tiered, and I wonder if the white and black one might be too loose on top such that it’s not flattering.

And they are both short. I want shorter for this, but not skanky short.
