I love this jacket by Nanette Lepore. I only wish it came with a skirt so I could wear it as a suit.

I always love party dresses, and this one from Vera Wang is no exception.

There are a few nice bags in the Banana Republic spring collection. The Flatiron bag is one that I really like. It comes in other colors, but I’m still hunting for a good white one, so I like this best.

A few weeks ago I wandered in to BCBG in Georgetown. I can never resist buying things there, and amazingly I found this dress for 70% off - only $50!!

I missed this the first time around, but found it on Bluefly. This shirtdress is totally in line with the retro sense of my style. Too bad it’s not in my size.

I want a ring for myself. I do not think I will ever spend the money to get one, but I still want one. This Elsa Peretti ring at Tiffany is just like what I envision.

Gasp! Look at these!!

Oh do I love this little bag. It is cool if it were the expected size, but Banana Republic calls it a “Baby Satchel” because it’s scaled down. That makes it extra awesome. I would use this all the time.

I know I am too old for this dress. I’m too old for pretty much any dress that comes in a color called “cherry red”. Still, I really like it. I could totally see myself working in my yard or walking the dogs in it.

Color blocking is big this season, apparently. Some of it I like, and most of it I wouldn’t wear. This Badgley Mischka dress is partiuclarly well done (though I still don’t know if I’d wear it).
