Wait - really? Come on maxstudio. Your “why not start the trend with a strut” description of these pants just makes it worse. Anyone who wears these will look like an idiot. Did you have to go there? Did you think “Oh, slouchy crotch and elastic waistband nearly-sweatpants will be TOTALLY in this year”?
Bluefly had a quick afternoon sale on shoes, and so I jumped in and picked up these Kate Spade pumps. They are a bit crazy, but also pretty cool.
This cashmere sweater is the final item I grabbed from the J Crew sale (for under $30!). I like the little pin detail and that it has the kind of retro look that I really like. I’m hoping it’s more fitted than it looks in the picture - the website says it is.
This is another item I picked up at the J Crew sale. I bought a white trench last spring, but it shrunk a bit and got dirty far to quickly. I think this one is really cool and will be more versatile in the navy.
J. Crew is offering 30% off their sale prices, so I picked up a few things this week. Thing one is this bracelet, which I think will be very versatile in my wardrobe, particularly come the summer.
While my colleagues think it’s silly, I resisted switching from my 12″ powerbook to my new Macbook Air because the powerbook fits in all my bags and the Air is 1.5″ wider and does not. Thus, I’d need to essentially replace all my work bags so I can bring my computer.
This is a costly proposition so I’m going slowly. My mom and dad got me an excellent brown messenger bag for xmas. Now, I at least need a black and a white. Today, I decided on this kate spade malea tote. It was available in both colors, but I chose white since I seem to have a harder time finding white bags. While not cheap, it was on sale. Now, it’s also on its way to me.
Usually I look for accessories to go with outfits, or at least palettes that I have in my wardrobe. This necklace from Anthropologie does not match anything I have, but I love it and would happily build an outfit around it.
I mentioned the Swept Away dress by Nanette Lepore recently. Nordstrom also carries it, but in green.
I have a new computer that is too big by an inch for all the bags I have. I’m slowly looking for a couple new ones. This Coah bag would be fabulous. I could use it all the time, but it’s quite an investment.
